This paper explores Case assignment and structural Case realization concerning expletive there-constructions and genitival constructions including ECM and Control infinitives, and the prepositional phrase. This study provides direct support for a possibility of structural Case checked off even in the prepositional phrase. Thus theoretical errors may be committed on Case in terms of universal grammar.
