中國東北地域과 韓半島의 合鑄式 銅柄 銅劍ㆍ鐵劍에 對하여

A Study on the Bronze and Iron Daggers with Bronze Handle in North-eastern China and Korea

기원전 1천년대에 중국 동북지역과 한반도에서 제작된 銅劍과 철검은 別鑄式이 대부분으로, 劍身에 靑銅劍柄을 連接하여 제작한 合鑄式은 예외적인 것이다. 合鑄式銅劍鐵劍의 변천을 기원전 9-5세기의 비파형동검, 기원전 4-2세기의 세형동검, 기원전 1세기의 철검단계로 나누어 설명할 수 있다. 비파형동검 단계에는 別鑄式原形을 그대로 모방한 合鑄式이 內蒙古東部, 현지 형식으로 변형된 柄部를 連接한 合鑄式이 내몽고 동부, 河北省북부 주변에 보급된다. 세형동검 단계에 雙鳥形劍把頭飾이 連接된 合鑄式이 遼東東部와 吉林지역, 別鑄式원형을 그대로 모방한 合鑄式이 南韓과 日本九州지역에 보급된다. 合鑄式銅柄鐵劍은 요동 동부와 吉林지역에 보급되는데 앞선 단계에 같은 지역에 등장한 合鑄式銅劍과 같은 雙鳥形劍把頭飾의 銅柄에 長劍劍身이 連接된다. 한반도에서는 靑銅劍柄의 철검은 別鑄式만 제작되고, 短劍의 劍身에 조립되는 것과 대조적이다. 이를 종합하면 合鑄式은 비파형동검단계에는 別鑄式銅劍분포권역을 벗어나 제작되지만, 세형동검단계에는 동 분포권역 내에 제작되다가, 철검단계에는 그중에서 특정 지역에 한정하여 제작되는 일정한 전개과정을 보여준다.

The bronze and iron daggers have been made and used in the northeastern China and Korea during the 1st millenium B.C. Most of them conist of dagger blade and handle, which had not been casted and combined together. Some of them, which had been combined bronze or iron blade and bronze handle parts into one set of dagger, had been exceptionally made and used in that area. The spatial pattern of those daggers can be explained in three phases of Violin shaped bronze dagger, Slim shaped bronze dagger, and Iron dagger. In the 1rd phase during 9th-5th Cent. B.C. the combined types of bronze daggers were made outside of the main area of violin shaped daggers, eastern Inner Mongol and northern Hebei of China. In the 2nd phase during 4th-2nd Cent. B.C. those combined types of bronze daggers were made in the main area of slim shaped daggers, eastern Liaoning and Jilin area of China, Korea pennisula and northern Kyushu of Japan. In the 3rd phase of the late 2nd and 1st Cent. B.C. those combined types of iron daggers with bronze handle were made in the restricted region of main iron dagger area, Eastern Liaoning and Jilin of China region. Those bronze handles of them immitate the form of the earlier bronze daggers in the same region.
