The Regional Economic Impact of Private Investment in Tourism&Leisure Development Project -The Case of Depoh Port in Sokcho City-

1. CONTENTS (1) RESEARCH OBJECTIVES This study analyzed the economic effects of participation in comprehensive port development project in the private sector. Specifically, analyzed the economic effects of tourism and leisure facilities development projects in the private sector on the Gangwon and Sokcho-si. (2) RESEARCH METHOD Research methods of the present study was to analyze the economic effects of the development of tourism and leisure facilities by using the input output model. (3) RESEARCH FINDINGS Overall fishing port development project, it was found that business method, to develop a hardware public. to supply the core facilities of the private sector is a business model very efficient. 2. RESULTS In result of this study as follows, first, the development of tourism and leisure facilities, employment effect of Gangwon is low, value-added inducement effect and production inducement effect was higher than in Sokcho-si. Second, the development of tourism and leisure facilities, economic effects affecting various industries across the country is large.
