2012년 3월부터 2013년 10월까지 서울특별시 노원구 하계동 일대에서 이루어진 거미상 조사에서 2013년 6월 13일 대진고등학교 교내에서 채집된 접시거미과의 거미를 조사 연구한 결과, 한국에서 수컷만이 기재되었던(Seo, 2011) 껍질애접시거미(Ceratinella brevis (Wider, 1834))의 암컷으로 확인되어 이 종의 암컷을 한국에서 처음으로 기재한다. 기재한 암컷의 표본은 남양주시 한국거미연구소 주필거미박물관에 소장되어 있다.
In this paper, the authors described the female of Ceratinella brevis (Wider, 1834) which was found during the spider fauna of Hagye-dong, Nowon-gu, Seoul for the first time in Korea. Before this description, there was only a description about the male of this species in Korea(Seo, 2011), so we described measurements and photos of the holotype female of this species from Korea in detail. The holotype female specimen of this species is deposited at the JooPil Spider Museum, Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi-do, Korea.
