The purpose of the paper was to analyze the contents of Sohak and extract some valuable concepts as the criterion of tea ceremony education. Sohak was the one of the true records of the Joseon dynasty, which was the main text for children at that time. The research methods were the primary sources for the analysis of Sohak and the content analysis of Sohak. The extracted valuable concepts were the participation, reverence and introspection. These concepts were interpreted as the criteria of tea ceremony education through meaning analysis and social value analysis systems as research outcomes.
