「他動詞+他動詞」型複合動詞からの「他動詞+非対格自動詞」型複合動詞派生要因一考

This paper will support the theory 'subject agreement principle' established by Matsumoto (1998) that describes the principle of [transitive verb + anticausative verb] type compound verb. Also the paper will supplement Matsumoto (1998) by studying how the [transitive verb + anticausative verb] type is derived from the [transitive verb + transitive verb] type compound verb. The study resulted in finding the principle that [transitive verb + anticausative verb] type is derived from the [transitive verb + transitive verb] type compound verb which has the characteristic of reflectivity. One of the key findings of this study is that this feature allows the verb to satisfy the 'subject agreement principle' and thus enables the derivation.
