The survey was conducted on July to August in 2013. Those questioned are 131 Japanese native speakers using KSL (Korean as a Second Language), living in Seoul. It was investigated that whether there is a change in apology acts when they came to Korea. and what has changeand, if found. In addition, what was the reason that has changed. As a result, KSL Japanese native speakers of the majority replied that there was no change in apology acts. Others was answered that there was a change to a negative direction of decreasing apology acts. The change was affected by Koreans' habits not to apologize easily. KSL Japanese native speakers evaluated very negatively apology acts of Korean. But they evaluated very positively apology acts of Japanese. Their apologies affected to some extent on the apology acts of Korean was evaluated positively than Korean apologies, but negatively than Japanese apologies.
