Christian Human Education for Sanctification

사람은 하나님의 형상대로 지음 받은 거룩한 존재였지만, 하나님의 말씀을 거역하고 하나님을 반역함으로 죄를 범하여 더 이상 거룩한 존재가 되지 못하게 되었다. 사람 스스로는 거룩함에 이르지 못하게 되었고, 그를 지으신 창조주 되신 하나님만이 사람을 거룩하게 하실 수 있다. 따라서 예수 그리스도를 통하여 구속의 은혜를 베푸셔서 사람을 거룩함으로 회복하셨다. 이것이 기독교에서 말하는 인간존재의 정의이다. 사람은 교육을 받을 존재로 지음 받았다. 이러한 사람이 죄를 범한 후에는 더욱 많은 교육이 필요하게 되었다. 죄로 인해 불완전하여 거룩함에 결코 이르지 못하는 사람이 거룩한 삶을 살도록 하기 위해서는 무엇보다 교육이 필요하다. 교육을 통하여 믿음이 강화되고 내적인 거룩함이 자리 잡게 되면 성화된 삶을 살 수 있다. 이러한 성화된 삶은 사람 일 평생 완성되지 않지만 교육을 통해 점점 더욱 성화된 삶을 살도록 해야 한다. 이와 같이 성화를 위한 교육에는 하나님 말씀의 교육이 선행되어야 한다. 또 다른 성화를 위한 교육에는 코이노니아 교육과 디아코니아 교육을 들 수 있다. 코이노니아를 통하여 온전한 커뮤니케이션이 이루어지고 내적인 거룩함이 강화되어 하나님의 영광을 나타내게 된다. 코이노니아를 통하여 믿음과 거룩한 삶이 강화되면 디아코니아의 삶을 살게 된다. 예수 그리스도의 십자가의 희생과 헌신이 디아코니아의 정신이다. 디아코니아는 성화의 실천적 행위인 선행의 발로이다.

Man was the holy being made in the image of God, but he disobeyed the command of God and committed sin, so he could not be the holy being any more. Man cannot achieve the holiness for himself, but only God the Creator can make him be holy. God recover that man lives the holy life by the redeeming grace of Jesus Christ. This is the definition of human being in Christianity. Man was made the being who must receive education. By the way, after man committed sin, he needed much more educations. Man who cannot achieve holiness because of his sins firstly needs education so that he may live a holy life. If man strengthens his faith and forms internal holiness, he can live a sanctified life. Man cannot bring to perfection of this sanctified life all his life, but he can live the sanctified life by education more and more. Life this, the education for sanctification must be preceded the education of God's word. Other educations for sanctification are Koinonia and Diakonia education. Koinonia enables man to do the whole communication and to strengthen internal holiness, so he can give God glory. If to strengthen the belief and holy life through Koinonia, man can live the life of Diakonia. The spirit of Diakonia is sacrifice and devotion of Christ on the cross. Diakonia is an expression of good deeds which are the practical act of sanctification.
