Textile in Dining Space - Significance of Satisfaction with Textile Design -

This study was attempted to analyze and evaluate the significance of the components of textile design upon that of the whole textile and based on this, to examine the significant components of textile. Under this background, the researcher is to look into the relation with consumer satisfaction. The objectives of this study are as follows: First, this study is to define textile and classify and specify the basic characteristics of textile design with relevant literature based on the theoretical background. Second, this study is to understand the significance of and preference for textile design in dining space and draw out a way of textile decoration which is rather practical and well-grounded than based on subjective decision. As a result of drawing out a conclusion through empirical analysis for the aforesaid objectives, it is considered that morphology and texture of the sub-components of textile significantly influence the whole significance of textile design. Therefore creation of those components is required to be considered with attention for textile construction in dining space.
