최근 이 연구는 시큐리티종사자들의 감정노동과 직무스트레스 및 소진과의 관계를 규명하는데 있다. 이 연구는 2013년 서울지방경찰청에 등록된 시큐리티회사에 재직하고 있는 시큐리티종사자를 모집단으로 선정하고, 판단표집법을 이용하여 총 250명의 표본을 추출하여 236명의 표본을 회수하여 최종 분석에 사용된 사례 수는 226명이다. 자료처리는 SPSSWIN 18.0을 이용하여 요인분석, 신뢰도분석, t검증 및 F검증, 다중 회귀분석 등이다. 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 시큐리티종사자의 사회인구통계학적 특성에 따라 감정노동, 직무스트레스, 소진은 차이가 있다. 둘째, 시큐리티종사자의 감정노동에 따라 직무스트레스는 차이가 있다. 특히, 감정노동의 내면행동은 인간관계 및 보상제도, 경력개발 스트레스에 부적 영향을 미치고 있는 반면에 표면행동은 인간관계 및 보상제도, 역할 및 직무특성 스트레스에 정적 영향을 미친다. 셋째, 시큐리티종사자의 직무스트레스에 따라 소진은 차이가 있다. 역할 및 직무특성 스트레스, 조직특성은 감정적 고갈에, 인간관계 및 보상제도, 조직특성, 경력개발 스트레스는 비인격화에 영향을 미친다고 나타났다.
