The purpose of this study is to pursue the Korean companies strategy as the China has evolved into urbanization, industrial restructuring , domestic consumption expansion, and demographic changes. First, there will be huge demand in urban construction, architecture and design while Chinese government promotes urbanization. Second, the consumption type will be changed from low level one to high level one with an emphasis on the quality of life like luxury items. Third, there will be an demographic change from ‘one-child policy’ to ‘two-children policy’ while the silver generation will emerge significantly. therefore each demographic section will create a different type of consumer trends. Fourth, the Chinese government is promoting the domestic expansion policy from the direct subsidy such as the new home appliance subsidy to th indirect onw such as increasing the purchasing power to propel consumption. Fifth, the Chinese government is implementing the industrial restructuring such as new strategic industry development, the privatization or closure of the state owned companies and over investment industry clean up. China has regionally the different laws, institutions and income gap according to each provinces. Thus, the Korean companies have to come up with appropriate strategies to cope with Chinese government policy and business environments.
