An Empirical Study on the FDI Inflows of China Logistics Industry

Foreign direct investment in recent years has increased the proportion of service industries than manufacturing industry. This trends have appeared prominently in China, China has been recognized as an important investment destination for foreign businesses in the manufacturing, but service industry has emerged as a new investment destination in China. The purpose of this study is to derive the inflow of foreign direct investment in China Factor in the logistics industry. And through this, we propose some implications for the China logistics industry. To this end, the results of China from 1992 to 2012 to collect time-series data on foreign direct investment in the logistics industry conducted a Granger causality analysis of GDP, manufacturing FDI, logistics industry infrastructure is a positive effect on logistics industry FDI inflows. Depending on the results the Chinese government to promote economic growth and expanding domestic demand of China market, logistics industry infrastructure, providing investment environment for manufacturing FDI inflows were presented, such as the policy implications.
