We are no longer speaking to tradition. Past education which civilization device of East Asia had been naturally taught has been completely replaced with modern education. And Chinese, which entirely contained its ideas, lost status to English. Now we are facing a tragedy of "civilized sorrow―pathos" and a tragedy which tradition may disappear in Korea. So using the MyeongsimBogam(『明心寶鑑』) text, I attempt to open the door which we can overcome this "civilized sorrow" and move forward. In fact, MyeongsimBogam is a 'anthology' or 'potpourri' including various or/and holistic social-organic-networks of Choseon; it covers not only a factor of the rewarding of virtue and the punishment of evil, but also the social bases which build public order and connect valuable customs, which needs to be made. Myeongsimbogam had been a textbook for children in the traditional Seodang of the Choseon Dynasty, now it can be used for even adult. With this, we can experience the text, MyeongsimBogam which is so characteristic of East tradition. Experiencing MyeongsimBogam and understanding it is 'sharing' the meaning of the text which tells us in terms of Gadamer's way. In other words, to create new prospect, we should not simply restore or reproduce past history, but carefully absorb the meaning in the text passed down. It is finding the 'text-ualities' of MyeongsimBogam in there, in Dawkins's way, including the Memes Set in it. Simultaneously ability to make a road to transmission and succession is necessary. Once we address to tradition first, tradition starts to speak to us. And each time, it will show us new voices of tradition. Beyond the time gap and discontinuity between tradition and modern society, MyeongsimBogam is still addressing to us.
