A Study on the Female Characters in the Korean Allegorical Literature

This thesis deals with the allegorical-works [寓言] of Korean classical literature, in which there are the characters of simulated female. The female character of the allegorys are regarded to, generally, have two ways of perspective -male and female point of views. The former, which could contain the narrative of female or male affairs, conventionally confirm or extremely deconstruct the established view of values. The latter obtain excellent results, as that satire the male affairs or reconsider the female affairs, in addtion to duplicate the complex simulated layers and acommplish the potentiality of change in the aesthetic consciousness. As result, this thesis have discussed on the 4 layers and extra one in which the female characters of allegorys have the simulated characteristics. 1) male's view - male's affairs; 2) male's view - female's affairs; 3) female's view male's affiars; 4) female's view - female's affairs; 5) female's view - complex affairs. Among them, it is very unique phenamenon that there are the works written by Korean-alphabets [諺文] in 3), 4), 5), while besides mostly written by the Chinesse-character [漢文]. They can explore the reverse side of one affairs and make clear of the facts by the plain, simple, and easy eyes -female's views.
