Organizational culture is increasingly becoming a differentiation factor for companies' performance. Companies have recently started to realize the importance of leadership's review and analysis of the contents of a wide variety of academic as well as practitioner articles. The impact of organizational culture on the firm's performance has documented the positive effect. In a similar manner, leadership which usually refers to an ability to influence others to act in a certain way, has been examined empirically in relation to the organizational-level financial performance. There is little doubt that organizational culture and top management leadership plays a significant role in the enhancement of organizational performance. Some successful corporations have especially distinctive cultures that they actively cultivate and manage, and that they contribute significantly to their success. As I have shown a conceptual model of leadership and organizational culture, it posits that leadership directly influences organizational culture. Then, the organizational culture has been posited to have a direct bearing on organizational effectiveness. In the proposed conceptual model presented in this study, leadership is posited to have a direct impact on the organizational culture. Furthermore leadership is portrayed to have an indirect impact on organizational effectiveness through organizational culture.
