A Socio-Technical System approach for innovation in IT society

In 21st century, as the environment around the company in more complicated and complex, the concept and importance of competitive origin are also changed. But it is clear that direction of change is to adjust the new phase of IT and globalization and to construct the new condition of competitive edge. On the process of innovation in the IT society, Socio-Technical Systems Theory is resurfaced. In this paper, focusing to Socio-Technical Systems Theory, comparing the theory before 1980's with that after 1980's, we consider that how innovation of corporate to use the change of Socio-Technical Systems Theory. It is because that the case study about to application of Socio-Technical Systems Theory after 1990's. give many suggestions for the innovation of Korean Corporate.
