여성 노인들의 경제적 삶의 만족도 영향요인

A Study on Influences of the Satisfaction in Economic Life of Elderly Women

여성 노인들에 대한 문제는 가부장적 문화가 지배적이었던 우리 사회 속에서 더욱 큰 문제를 야기시킬 수 있다. 본 연구는 여성 노인들의 경제적 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 도출하여 여성 노인들의 경제적 현실을 진단하는데 목적을 두었다. 조사 데이터는 2012년 한국여성정책연구원에서 실시한 노인 안전 실태조사 데이터를 활용하여 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 여성 노인들의 경제적 삶의 만족도는 비교적 높지 않았으며, 특히 노년기 후반으로 갈수록 경제적 위기에 직면하는 확률이 높았다. 둘째, 실제 노인 정책에 따른 다양한 제도에도 불구하고 여성 노인들이 느끼는 경제적 삶의 만족도는 높지 않았다. 특히 여성 노인들이 경제적 문제를 해결하기 위한 일자리 창출 제도 등에 대하여 인지율이 낮고, 제공되는 일자리도 여성 노인들이 실제 진입하지 못하고 있었다. 이와 같은 분석결과를 바탕으로 하여 본 연구에서는 여성 노인들에 대한 전반적인 실태조사를 바탕으로 한 적합한 일자리 창출의 필요성, 노인 정책 수립 시에 총체적인 관점에서 노인문제 진단의 필요성을 제시하였다.

This study focused economic life satisfaction of elderly women because the problem of the elderly women are more serious in our patriarchal culture. The research data for analysis is collected in Senior Safetly Survey of KWDI(Korean Woman's Development Institute). This research results are as follows: The first, generally, the economic life satisfaction of elderly women are not high and especially, the elderly women are having economic difficulties. The second, the life satisfaction of elderly women are relatively not high despite various government's elderly preferential policies-such as increase in jobs, It is determined as a result of the perceived lack of job and publicity for jobs, and then barriers to entry. In order to solve the economic problems of the elderly women, it will be need to carried out survey about overall elderly women.
