이 논문은 일본인 학습자가 일본어 외래어를 매개로 한국어 외래어를 이해할 수 있도록 한국어와 일본어의 외래어 표기 대응관계 규칙을 제시하는 데에 주된 목적이 있다. 한국어와 일본어에서 일상적으로 사용되는 총 880개 외래어를 분석 대상으로 하여 가타카나와 부호 113개가 음절단위의 한글에 어두, 어중, 어말에서 각각 어떻게 대응하는지, 즉 총 227가지의 경우에 대한 표기 대응관계를 살펴보았다. 그 결과, 히라가나와 부호의 개수를 기준으로 113개 중 52개, 전체 비율의 46%가 음절 단위의 한글에 1 : 1로 대응함을 확인하였다. 또한 대응관계를 기준으로 하면 227가지 중 160가지의 경우, 전체 비율의 72%가 1 : 1로 대응하고 있음을 확인하였다.
Loanword has been increasing in Korean language by the globalization, of Korean society, and Korean learners has been getting chances to encounter loanword at the same time. Therefore, studies on education of loanword in Korean language has proceeded actively after 2000, but studies on that for Japanese leaners has not done as much. This paper is aimed to suggest rules of related confrontation between Korean Loanword and Japanese one, and also proposal the model of education of loanword in Korean language. First, chapter one introduces why studies on education of loanword for Japanese leaners has not proceeded as much as that for other leaners. Chapter two examines a general tendency to advanced studies on education of loanword in Korean language, and a purpose of this study. Chapter three discovers transcription rules of related confrontation between Korean Loanword and Japanese one through a comparative analysis. Chapter four proposals the model of the model of education of loanword in Korean language through using the rules that discovered on chapter three. Finally, chapter five mentions the conclusion and limitations of this study.
