Designing of an Intelligent CCTV Utilizing a Decision-Making Algorithm

With the gradual development and growth of the modern society, a lot of crimes have been taking place and a number of CCTVs have been installed and operated in many places of a city so as to prevent crimes from happening. Also the current CCTVs have a shortcoming of not being able to making a real-time risk decision due to its usage mainly for scanning purpose. In this paper, therefore, a design for an intelligent CCTV has been presented in which a decision-making algorithm is to be applied to the existing CCTV. Such an intelligent CCTV is expected to supplement the existing, scanning-only CCTV by making it possible to recognize specific suspects, illegal waste disposals and illegal parking through using filters of shapes, colors, characters, motions, etc. while keeping a record of them and to inform about any risk decision-making in real-time.
