교육국제화특구법에 따른 글로벌 창의모델학교 운영의내실화 및 확산 방향

The Substantiality and Diffusion Direction of Global Creation Model School Operation by Educational Globalization Special Area Act

본 연구의 목적은 대구광역시교육청에서 운영하고 있는 글로벌 창의모델학교 운영 현황을 분석하고, 글로벌 창의모델학교 운영에 대한 교원들의 인식조사 분석, 제도 및 운영차원에서 내실화 및 확산 방향을 모색해보는 것이다. 교육국제화특구법에 따른 대구광역시교육청의 주요 글로벌 교육프로그램 지원 및 운영으로 3ㆍ2ㆍ1 Happy Together English, 글로벌 동아리, 글로벌 독서교육연구회, 글로벌교육센터, 글로벌 창의모델학교를 들 수 있다. 대구광역시교육청은 글로벌 창의모델학교에서 교육적 Know-how를 공유ㆍ확산시키기 위해 노력하고 있으며, 외국어 교과수업 시수 증배 교육과정 편성, 영어로 진행하는 창의적 체험활동 및 수준별 방과 후 교육, 학교별로 지역적 특성을 반영한 국제화 교육프로그램 등을 운영하고 있다. 교육국제화특구로 지정되어 있는 달서구와 북구의 초ㆍ중학교의 교원들을 대상으로 조사ㆍ분석하여 나타난 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교원들은 글로벌 창의모델학교에 대해 비교적 긍정적인 식을 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 글로벌 창의모델학교의 기본 운영에 대해 교원들은 긍정적인 인식을 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 글로벌 창의모델학교의 교육과정 편성ㆍ운영에 대해 교원들은 비교적 긍정적인 인식을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 토대로 글로벌 창의모델학교 운영 내실화 및 확산 방향이 논의되었다.

The purpose of the study is to analyze the current situation of global creation model school operation by Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education and teachers' perception on global creation model school operation, and explore substantiality and diffusion direction in system and operation. The main global educational program support and operation of Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education based on Educational Globalization Special Area Act include 3ㆍ2ㆍ1 Happy Together English, global club, global study meeting for book reading education, global educational center, global creation model school. The Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education makes an effort to diffuse educational know-how from global creation model school and operates the increase of hours for foreign language education, creative experience activity and after school education by level, and global educational program reflecting local trait. Main results from a survey using elementary school and middle school teachers in Buk-gu and Dalsu-gu of Educational Globalization Special Area show that they have a positive perception about global creation model school, its basic operation, and curriculum. Based on the results, the substantiality and diffusion direction of global creation model school operation are discussed.
