2012~2014년 교과학습 진단평가의 기초미달률 변화 분석 및 국가수준 학업성취도의 기초미달률과의 관계 탐색

An Analysis of Changes in the Proportions of Below Basic on the Diagnostic Tests of Subject Learning and Relationships to the Proportions of Below Basic on the NAEA

본 연구의 목적은 첫째, 2012~2014년 교과학습 진단평가(이하 진단평가)에 나타난 기초미달률의 연도별 변화를 지역규모간, 학년별, 교과별로 분석하고, 둘째, 2013년 중1, 2학년 진단평가의 기초미달률과 중3학년 국가수준 학업성취도 평가(이하 학업성취도 평가)의 기초미달률간 관계를 탐색하는데 있다. 본 연구 자료는 2012~2014년 진단평가를 치른 시ㆍ도교육청에서 학생들을 표집한 것이다. 진단평가는 2012년에 북마크방법으로 기준을 설정한 후, 이후 연도에는 진점수동등화 기법으로 동등화하였다. 2013년 중1, 2학년 진단평가의 학교단위 기초미달률과 동일학교의 중3학년 학업성취도 평가의 학교단위 기초미달률을 연계했다. 연구결과 첫째, 초등학교는 기초미달률이 2012년 대비 2013년에 평균적으로 증가했다가, 2014년에는 모든 학년에서 2013년 대비 평균적으로 감소했다. 다만, 읍면지역 초등학교에서 기초미달률이 2013년 대비 2014년에 증가한 교과가 다른 지역규모에 비해 많았다. 중학교는 2012년 대비 2013년에 기초미달률이 평균적으로 감소했으나, 2014년에는 2013년 대비 중학교 1학년은 감소했지만, 2학년은 증가했다. 둘째, 상관 및 GLM 분석결과 전체적으로 중1, 2학년 진단평가의 학교단위 기초미달률과 중3학년 학업성취도 평가의 학교단위 기초미달률간 유의한 관계가 있었다. 그런데 지역별로 구분했을 때 읍면지역과 대도시에서는 관계가 유의했지만 중소도시에서는 유의하지 않았다.

The purposes of this study are twofold. First, it is to investigate the changes in the proportions of below basic on the Diagnostic Tests of Subject Learning (DTSL) from years 2012 to 2014. Second, it is to explore the relationships between the proportions of below basic on the 2013 DTSL and those on the 2013 National Assessment of Educational Achievement (NAEA) at the school level for middle schools. For the first research question, the DTSL data was sampled with the stratified two-stage cluster sampling method over the three years from the 12 provinces that took the exam. The DTSL scores were equated with the true score IRT equating method. For the second research question, the middle schools took DTSL and NAEA in 2013 were selected. The results show that the proportions of below basic in the elementary schools were, compared to the previous year, increased in year 2013 and decreased in year 2014 for grades 4 to 6. The proportions in 7th grade were on average decreased for two consecutive years, while those in the 8th grade were decreased in 2013 and increased in 2014. The proportions of below basic on the 2013 DTSL in grades 7th and 8th had significant correlation with the proportion of below basic on the 2013 NAEA in grade 9th.
