청소년 문화, 부적응, 자살에 대한 기독교 교육적 대안

Christian Education for the Youth Culture, Maladaptation and Suicide

"청년이 무엇으로 그의 행실을 깨끗하게 하리이까 주의 말씀만 지킬 따름이니이다."64 위의 말씀은 청년(청소년)을 위한 성경에서의 대표적인 구절임에도 불구하고 사실 성경에는 청소년에 관한 말씀들이 그리 많은 편은 아니다. 그러나 성경 전체에서 흐르는 청소년에 대한 관심과 사랑을 우리가 주목하고 그 의미를 깊이 묵상해야 할 줄로 안다. 본 연구의 동기는 여기에서 시작이 되어 진다. 오늘의 청소년들, 특별히 교회 소속의 기독교 청소년을 위한 연구는 그들의 문화를 이해하고 그들이 왜 교회나 혹은 학교에 적응하지 못하고 방황하고 있는지 그리고 왜 극단적인 길을 선택하는지 부모나 교사인 우리"어른"들은 책임의식을 가지고 고민하고 이와 같은 문제 해결을 위한 방안을 제시해야 한다. 기독 청소년은 인본주의적이고 세속적인 문화가 아닌 기독교 세계관에 기초한 기독교 문화의 영향을 받아야 하며, 교회에 대한 부적응 청소년들이 '교회적응'을 위한 내적인 요인, 즉'하나님의 부르심에 대한 응답''오직 믿음''말씀 중심의 삶'등의 삶을 살게 하는 것이며 이를 구체화 하는 교회 공동체 교육의 중요성을 강조해야한다. 청소년 부적응으로 나타나는 극단적인 선택인 자살의 요인들은 사회적 요인, 가정 환경적 요인, 개인 성격적 요인, 및 정신건강요인 혹은 생물학적 요인, 유전적 요인, 정신적 장애 요인, 개인적 요인, 가정적 요인, 사회ㆍ환경적 요인 등이 있으며, 자살방지를 위한 예방 교육으로서의 동기부여 등이 필요하다.

"How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word." Even though this is a typical passage of the Bible for young people (youth), the Bible does not say much specifically about youth. However, we need to pay attention to God's concern and love for youth through out the Bible. The motivation for this research comes from God's concern and love for youth. Research for today's youth, particularly for Christian youth is needed to show us the key characteristics of a constantly evolving youth culture and the specific reasons why they are wandering off course and choosing extreme behaviors instead of being adapted well to churches and or schools. Parents and teachers, so-called adults, need to look for a solution for these problems with more concerted awareness of our responsibility for our youth. Christian youths need to be influenced by Christian culture based on a Christian world-view instead of a secular humanistic world-view. Maladjusted young people need to be empowered to live by a deep inner motivation that comes from genuine faith outlined by three important directives, 'the response for God's calling,' 'the faith of God,' 'the Word-centered life,' that results in real integration to church. The importance of the education of the whole church community also needs to be emphasized in this process. Factors that need to be considered in suicide from adolescent maladjustment are social factors, factor of the atmosphere of home, personal factors, mental problem, biological factors, genetic factors, mental disability factors, personality, and so on as the development of motivation from prevention education is necessary for suicide prevention.
