<한국서지> 담화 구조와 프레임 연구

A Study on discursive structure of Bibliographie Cor&eacute;enne, of Maurice Courant

본고에서는 <한국서지>의 담화에 주목하여 이것이 총체적으로 '한국성'이라는 의미를 구성하는 과정을 규명해보고자 한다. 삶이 지속되는 실재 공간은 다양한 성격을 가지게 된다. 그러나 시선을 통해 포착되는 것은 공간의 총체적 의미 중 일부이다. 담화 주체의 시각을 통해 기술된 담화는 '구성된' 공간성, 즉 한국이라는 나라의 구성된 정체성을 구축한다. 따라서 쿠랑의 시각, 즉 프레임을 통해 구성된 한국성이 어떻게 표출되는지를 담화 구조 분석을 통해 살펴본다. 쿠랑이 구성한 한국성이란 동아시아적 총체성 안에서의 한국성이라고도 보인다. 동아시아적 총체성을 상정하고, 일종의 번역으로 한국성을 인식한 것이다. 그 과정에서 쿠랑의 <한국서지>는 번역되고 혼종된 한국성이 드러나는 한국의 지형도로 읽혀질 수 있다.

The purpose of this project is to examine Bibliographie Cor&eacute;enne, especially focusing on discursive structure. Bibilographie Cor&eacute;enne, which is the representative work of Courant, and of Korean ancient study. The most important work in this research is to reveal how Courant realized the conception of 'Korea'. Accordingly, it is significant to reconstruct the perspective and outlook from discursive structure. For example, it is possible to assume the conception of 'Korean literature' of Courant by observing the table of content about 'Korean literature'. Hence, I will define the Koreanity in Bibliographie Cor&eacute;enne, as a translated partial characteristic of conception, in regards to the perspective of external describing subject. Therefore, Bibliographie Cor&eacute;enne can be coded not only as a bibliography but kind of topographic map of 19th century's Korea.
