This study attempted to determine the effects of a beauty yoga program which has weight control and obesity prevention & healing effects on female college students and adult women attending a cultural program in a lifelong education institute, who are very interested in beauty and health. For this, beauty yoga classes were given three (3) times a week (60 minutes at a time) for 12 weeks, and changes in body were investigated before and after (6 and 12 weeks later) the test. For this, a total of 39 women (experimental group: 20, control group: 19) were sampled from healthy adult women (aged 30-40s) who were enrolled in a cultural program in 'L' Culture Center in 'J.' First, in terms of body composition (body weight, muscle mass, BMI, body fat percentage, basal metabolism), a statistically significant difference was found in the experimental group to which the beauty yoga program was given. Second, in terms of serum lipid (cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglyceride), a statistically significant difference was detected in the experimental group. Third, the stress hormone 'cortisol' declined in the experimental group with a statistically significant difference. Fourth, a decrease in dopamine levels was observed in the experimental group with a statistically significant difference. Fifth, in terms of changes in self-respect, stress and overall satisfaction, a statistically significant difference was found in the experimental group.
