A Study of Differences in Features of Makeup Psychology, Color and Expression Depending on Symptoms of Menopause in Women

This study attempted to analyze the psychological perception, color and expressive features of makeup depending on symptoms of menopause in women. The study results found the following: First, a statistically significant difference was found in makeup interest, makeup satisfaction and makeup psychological utility depending on the symptoms of menopause among middle-age women. Second, in terms of makeup color, cool color, dark colors and lower chroma were preferred in the menopause group than the non-menopausal group. Third, a significant difference was observed in terms of makeup level, makeup chroma, shape of eyebrows and makeup texture. In conclusion, differences in makeup perception, makeup color psychology and expressive features of makeup depending on the symptoms of menopause in women were confirmed. It is expected that the study results would be useful in expressing and analyzing the characteristics of makeup psychology and may be used as basic data in follow-up studies for makeup psychological therapy.
