In the domestic makeup industry, there is no quantified service system on makeup services. Therefore, the industry needs to come up with a service program to provide quantified makeup services regardless of regional deviation or nationality and language variations and analyze customer satisfaction with makeup services after developing an IT-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) service model. Therefore, this study aimed to create beauty contents which target fun, convenience and personality through convergence of IT and art by naming the iPad-based customer makeup simulation service 'Individual Makeup Recipe Service (IMR). For this, customer needs and demand were investigated through a questionnaire survey on makeup services, and a makeup simulation model which configures makeup simulation for the iPad, depending on diverse makeup purposes and color compositions, was developed. It is hoped that the study results will contribute to product development and improvement of international exchange for beauty services and export through analysis of basic data on diverse consumer segments in consideration of increase in customer demand for makeup.
