The Analysis of Features in Trends of Minimalist Fashion and Hairstyles -From 2010~2013(2014) F/WSe-

The minimalism that appeared after the 1960s has continued to reappear and has been suggested as an evolutionary design. The purpose of this study is to examine this concept as well as the background of minimalism and to examine the features of minimalism that have appeared in fashion and hair trends of 2010~2013(2014) F/W. These trends will be analyzed for any kind of mutual relationship to verify and view the value of minimalism that will develop. The features of the type of minimalism that appeared in 2010~2013(2014) F/W can be distinguished as a minimization of shapes and the senses and the repetition of simple patterns. According to the results of this study, the minimization of shapes and the repetition of simple patterns appeared in minimalism fashions while the minimization of shapes and senses appeared as a main trend. The repetition of simple patterns was rare. In fashion and hair, there were certain cases in which the features of minimalism corresponded, but the feature of hair minimalism has wider ranges than fashion minimalism and it displayed a variety of practical uses. The features of minimalism are predicted to appear steadily throughout fashion and hair trends well into the future.
