가정 및 학교환경과 인터넷중독이 폭력비행에 미치는 효과분석

A Study on the Effect of the Home-Environment and School-Environment and Internet Addiction on the Adolescents' Violence Delinquency: Focused on the Mediating Effect of Internet Addiction

오늘날 청소년들의 인터넷사용은 심각한 중독수준에 이르게 되었으며, 이로인해 사회적 문제를 일으키고 있다. 특히 오늘날 이슈가 되고 있는 학교폭력문제 또한 게임 등 인터넷중독으로 인해 발생된 결과라 할 수 있을 것이다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 기존 연구에서 주장되었던 청소년비행의 주된 요인인 가정환경, 학교환경 등이 인터넷중독이란 매개요인에 의해 폭력비행에 더욱 영향을 미칠 것이라는 연구가설을 검증하고자 한다. 이를 위해 서울, 경기, 충남지역의 중학교 1ㆍ2ㆍ3학년과 고등학교 1ㆍ2학년 총 520명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석결과 가정 및 학교환경요인이 인터넷중독을 유발하고, 인터넷중독이 폭력비행의 원인으로 작용하는 것으로 나타났다. 먼저 가정환경요인에서는 부모로부터 학대경험이 있는 학생일수록 인터넷중독의 정도가 높아져 폭력비행을 많이 저지르는 것으로 나타났다. 부모로부터 학대를 받는 청소년의 경우 이로 인해받는 스트레스, 학습되어진 공격성을 인터넷게임 등을 통해 해소하게 되면서 더욱 공격성을 학습하게 되어 폭력비행을 쉽게 저지를 수 있을 것이라 해석된다. 다음으로 학교환경요인에서는 학교에 애착이 낮은 학생일수록 인터넷중독의 정도가 높아져 폭력비행을 많이 저지르는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이 또한 선생님 및 친구집단과 어울리지 못하고 학업성적도 떨어지는 등 학교에 대한 애착이 낮은 청소년의 경우 소외된 시간에 인터넷을 통해 그 외로움을 달래게 될 것이며, 이에 중독되는 과정에서 우울성과 공격성이 증가하면서 폭력비행을 쉽게 저지르게 되는 것으로 보여 진다. 분석결과와 같이 인터넷중독이 가정 및 학교에서의 문제로 인해 발생된다면 가정 및 학교에서 청소년들에 대해 애정과 관심으로 지도하여 인터넷중독을 예방하고, 인터넷에 중독된 청소년들을 위해서 지속적인 상담 및 치료 등의 사후대책을 마련하는 것이 필요하다.

Recently, Internet Addiction of juveniles contributes to one of the problems in our society. In particular, Media says that one of today's social problems is school violence and one of the causes of school violence is internet addiction such as internet game addiction. So in this study, we will prove that the social environment which includes home and school environment affects internet addiction and which in turn results in the violent delinquency of juveniles. For this study, surveys were conducted among the juveniles grades 1, 2, 3 in middle school students and grades 1 & 2 in high school students the total number is 520 in Seoul, Kyŏnggi and Chungcheong Province. According to the structural equation model analysis, the problems of home and school have influenced on internet addiction, and it affects violent delinquency among juveniles. First, the students who received parental abuse get easily addicted in the use of internet and those students of high level in internet addiction are apt to commit violent crimes. Those students who had experienced child abuse suffer stress so they tend to resolve the learned aggression through the internet games. By this continuous act, the students are apt to commit violent crimes easily. Second, the students who had low attachment to school are easily addicted in the internet and these students of high level in internet addiction are easy to commit violent crimes. It's because youth who has low attachment in school doesn't go along with peers and has low grade in their exam. So they get alienated from friends. After that they try to cope the loneliness through the use of internet. By this repeated process, the students get addicted in the internet and commit such violent crimes easily. Based on these findings, this study presents two ways to reform measures which are listed below. First, in order to prevent internet addiction of youth, we have educated the youth with love and concern not only at home but also in school. Second, for those youth who get addicted to the internet, it is necessary to establish an ongoing counseling and post-treatment measures.
