A Study on Competitiveness in Green-Energy Export of Korea and India

This study focus on comparing of two countries such as Korea and India in Green Energy industry which includes solar-light power generation, wind power generation and Smart Grid Energy Technology. To calculate two countries RCA and RMI, UN data and WTO data are used. RCA represents a comparative competitiveness in trade structure and RMI shows concentrate ratio of market. Revealed two index shows that Korea has a relative strongness in solar-light power generation industry compared to wind power and SGET. Additionally, the two other industry also shows us the positive potential. Our research can be summarized as Korea has a relative strongness in Green Energy than India does. And it is forecasted that Korea can benefits in Green Energy Industries by the cooperative actions of two countries.
