예술영재와 과학영재의 창의성 비교

Comparing Creativity between the Gifted in Arts and the Gifted in Science

본 연구는 예술영재 181명과 과학영재 154명의 창의적 특성을 비교 분석해 예술영재들의 창의성 촉진을 위한 실증적 정보 제공에 목적이 있다. 연구목적 실현을 위해 첫째, 예술과 과학 분야 영재들의 종합 창의성 결과를 비교ㆍ분석했다. 둘째, 두 분야 영재들의 성별 및 학교 급에 따른 창의성 결과를 비교ㆍ분석했다. 연구 결과, 예술영재의 종합 창의지수는 과학영재에 비해 평균 10점이 낮았다. 창의적사고력은 예술분야의 우수 인재양성을 위해 중요한 요인인 만큼, 추후 정교성, 추상성, 독창성, 창의적 강점 등의 신장을 위한 구체적이고 적극적인 개선의 노력이 필요한 것으로 조사되었다.

The purpose of this study is to offer empirical information for promoting creativity of the gifted in arts by comparatively analyzing creative characteristics between 181 gifted students in arts and 154 gifted students in science. To realize research objective, it comparatively analyzed the results of general creativity in the gifted students between art and science fields. Second, it compared and analyzed the results of creativity by gender and according to school level of the gifted between two fields. As a result of research, the general creative index of the gifted in arts was lower by averagely 10 points compared to the gifted in science. The creative thinking is important factor for training excellent talents in the art field. Thus, it was surveyed to be needed a specific and positive effort to improve for strengthening elaboration, abstractness of titles, originality, creative strengths.
