국내 학제간 연구의 동향 분석 및 전망

Analysis and Prospect of Interdisciplinary Studies in Internal Academic Arena: Focus on Thesis published in Korea Citation Index

본 논문은 현재 학계에서 유행하고 있는 학제간(interdisciplinary) 연구물들에 대한 연구 동향 분석 및 전망에 목적이 있다. 2000년대 초반을 기점으로 하여 학제간 연구물들이 증가하고 있는 추세에 있으며, 한국연구재단(National Research Foundation of Korea)을 중심으로 2007년부터 향후 10년을 기한으로 진행되고 있는 HK(인문한국)사업에 따라 그 추세는 앞으로 더욱 가속될 전망이다. 이와 같은 상황에서 본 논문은, '통섭(consilience)', '융복합(Convergence)', '학제간(interdisciplinary)', '탈경계(Trans-Boundaries)'의 4가지 키워드를 사용하여 한국학술지인용색인(Korea Citation Index)에 현재까지 등재된 학제간 연구 결과물들을 추출한 뒤, 이를 동일 기관에서 제공하는 주제분류에 따라 분류하여 살펴볼 것이다. 이를 통해 우리는 국내 학제간 연구가 실제 어떤 양상을 띠며 진행되고 있는지, 그리고 그로부터 현재의 학제간 연구 진행에 관하여 우리가 무엇을 생각해볼 필요가 있는지 살펴볼 것이다.

Purpose of this thesis is to provide analysis and prospect of current trend in interdisciplinary studies that have been major topics in academic arena recently. The interdisciplinary studies have been increasing fast since the early 2000's, and National Research Foundation of Korea has also been keeping pace with this trend by launching HK project from 2007 for the period of 10 years. This tendency is evidently expected to continue on and even accelerate. By using four keywords of "consilience", "convergence", "interdisciplinary" and "trans-boundaries", this paper has extracted researches that have been published in Korea Citation Index up to now, and reviewed them by categories used in the same institution. The thesis is to lead us to reflect on the actual direction and disposition of the current interdisciplinary studies and necessary points that we have to ponder on further.
