비합리적 신념과 진로성숙의 관계에서 내현적 자기애와 낙관성의 매개효과

본 연구는 진로문제를 발달적 관점에서 주목하고 진로성숙에 영향을 미치는 개인 내적 요인의 규명과 함께 그 관계성을 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 진로성숙에 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상되는 변인으로 비합리적 신념, 내현적 자기애 및 낙관성을 상정하고, 비합리적 신념과 진로성숙의 관계에서 내현적 자기애와 낙관성의 매개효과를 분석하였다. 대학생 312명을 대상으로 비합리적 신념, 내현적 자기애, 낙관성, 진로성숙의 관계를 위계적 회귀분석을 사용하여 분석한 결과 비합리적 신념과 진로성숙의 관계에서 내현적 자기애는 완전 매개를 하는 것으로 나타났고, 낙관성은 부분 매개를 하는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 효과적인 진로교육 및 진로상담을 위한 시사점을 논의하였다.

This study identified psychological factors influencing career maturity in terms of developmental perspectives. The effect of irrational belief, inverted narcissism and optimism on career maturity was examined. In particular, the inverted narcissism and optimism was postulated as mediators between irrational belief and career maturity. 312 college students participated in this study and the survey was analyzed by correlation analysis and a mediation analysis including series of multiple regression with hierarchical regression. The inverted narcissism was found as a perfect mediator between irrational belief and career maturity, while optimism was found as a partial mediator between irrational belief and career maturity. Implication for effective career counseling was discussed and effective educational interventions were suggested based on the results.
