본고는 숙대본 A <김희경전>을 여타의 이본과 면밀히 대조하여 그 이본적 가치를 탐색하는 데 목적을 두었다. 장편 계열에 속하는 숙대본 A <김희경전>과 한중연본 <금환기봉>은 󰇦～󰇮대목에서 두드러진 차이를 보인다. 그리고 두 이본의 대비 과정에서 드러난 한중연본 <금환기봉>의 특징적인 면모들은 ‘한중연본 유형’의 다른 이본에도 유사하게 수용되어 있다. 그러므로 숙대본 A <김희경전>을 ‘한중연본 유형’으로 보는 것은 문제가 있다. 한편, 숙대본 A <김희경전>이 보이는 󰇦～󰇮대목의 내용은 ‘김동욱본 A⋅D⋅F 조합본’에도 고스란히 나와 있다. 이처럼 숙대본 A <김희경전>은 기존 논의에서 ‘김동욱본 A⋅D⋅F 조합본’이라는 다소 불충분한 자료를 근거로 설정되었던‘김동욱본 계열’이 실제로 존재했음을 분명하게 입증해주는 귀중한 자료가 된다. 따라서 향후 <김희경전>의 원전 복원 작업에서는 숙대본 A <김희경전>이 핵심 자료로서의 가치를 지닌다고 할 수 있다.
The purpose of this study is to explore the value of sukdae-bon A <Kim Huigyeong-jeon> as one of the different editions by comparing it with the others precisely. Sukdae-bon A <Kim Huigyeong-jeon> and hanjungyeon-bon <Geumhwangibong> corresponding to full-length series show distinctive difference from a to i parts. However, it has been found that the characteristic aspects of hanjungyeon-bon <Geumhwangibong> revealed in the process of comparing the two different editions were accepted similarly to hanjungyeon-bon’s other different editions. On the other hand, sukdae-bon A <Kim Huigyeong-jeon>’s a to i parts are included in ‘Kim Donguk-bon’s A⋅D⋅F combined editions’intactly. Therefore, sukdae-bon A <Kim Huigyeong-jeon> can be regarded as precious material that can clearly prove ‘Kim Donguk-bon series’ were actually present though they have been established by advanced research based on rather insufficient material of ‘Kim Donguk-bon’s A⋅D⋅F combined editions’. Accordingly, follow-up work to restore the original of <Kim Huigyeong-jeon> should take this as nuclear material, and this can be said to be the very value of sukdae-bon A <Kim Huigyeong-jeon> as one of the different editions.
