정극인의 시가 작품이 지닌 15세기 사대부문학으로서의 위상 탐구

A study on the poetry and song of Jeong Geugin as the 15th Century's Sadaebu literature

15세기는 본격적인 처사문학을 지향하는 강호가도의 흐름이 아직 형성되기 이전으로 관료생활을 지향하고 임금의 은혜를 송축하는 내용이 사대부 시가문학의 주류를 차지하던 시기이다. 정극인은 15세기를 마치며 16세기로 나아가는 시기에 작품 활동을 하면서 관료문학과 처사문학으로의 양가적 지향성을 드러내었다. 장르 선택이나 표기상의 문제와 관련해서 볼 때 15세기는 아직까지 한시체 위주에 우리말로 토를 달거나 우리말 부분을 채워 넣은 형태의 시가가 일반적이었기에 경기체가나 한시체 중심 악장 등이 사대부 시가의 주류를 이루고, 시조의 경우에도 임금의 은혜를 칭송하는 내용이 드러난 작품들이 많이 보인다. 정극인의 <불우헌가>는 악장과 유사한 내용과 형식을 지닌 한시체 중심의 시가로, 15세기를 마감하는 시가 형식이다. 한편 <불우헌곡>은 전 시기 관료적 지향의 경기체가에서 뒷 시기 처사적 지향으로 넘어가는 경기체가의 변화를 선도하면서 영남지역 사림파의 경기체가에 영향을 준 만큼, 15세기 이전과 이후를 사이에 두고 변화를 이끌어낸 작품으로 파악할 수 있다. <상춘곡>의 경우 정극인 만년에 지어진 한시와 시가 작품을 총체적으로 검토했을 때 처사문학으로의 지향성 역시 충분한 정도로 드러나고 있음을 알 수 있었기에 정극인의 작품으로 볼 수 있을 것이다.

In the 15th century, the movements of nature-praising poetry, which pursued retired officials' literature in full swing, were not yet launched, but the world view of pursuing public official life and praising the grace of kings prevailed in the Sadaebu poetic literature. Jeong Geugin, who wrote many literary works at the turn of the 16th century, pursued both official's literature and nature-praising literature. In terms of the selection of genres or writing, in the 15th century, Chinese poems prevailed, only with them being transliterated into Korean words or Korean words added to then to complement them, so these poems, called Gyeonggichega songs or Chinese poems, formed the main stream of the Sadaebu poetry. In the case of Sijo (an ancient genre of Korean poetry), many works embraced the world view of praising the grace of kings. Jeong Geugin's Buluheonga poem is the typical Chinese poem-style song which expresse the 15th world view, and carries the poem style which wraps up the 15th century. On the other hand, Buluheongok song led changes to the Gyeonggichega poem style which transited from the earlier-period's bureaucratic-oriented Gyeonggichega to the later-period's nature-praising poetry style, and simultaneously influenced the Gyeonggichega style of Sarimpa School of Yeongnam region, so it is seen as a work that brought changes to the borderline period before and after 15th century. Sangchungok song is seen as Jeong Geugin's work as it has ample inclination to be nature-praising literature when his later-life Chinese poems and other-style poems are totally examined.
