유아교사의 아동학대 신고의도 및 행동에 영향을 미치는 요인

The Factors Influencing Early Childhood Teachers’ Reporting Intention and Behavior in Relation to Child Abu

본 연구의 목적은 아동학대 신고행동에 영향을 미치는 학대관련 지식, 신고태도, 신고효능감이 유아교사의 신고의도와 행동에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보고 이들의 명확한 관계를 탐색하여 신고의무자로서 유아교사의 신고행동을 증진시키기 위한 기초자료를 마련하기 위함이다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 대전․충남지역의 유치원, 어린이집에 근무하는 유아교사 290명에게 지식, 신고태도, 신고효능감, 신고의도 및 행동을 응답하게 하였다. 연구결과, 학대관련 지식, 신고태도, 신고효능감이 신고의도에 영향을 미치며, 신고태도, 신고효능감, 신고의도가 신고행동에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 피학대 유아의 조기 발견을 위해 아동학대 인식과 신고에 관한 교육 및 철저한 훈련을 통해 아동학대 신 고에 관한 유아교사의 효능감을 향상시키고, 또 교사를 위한 전문적인 지원인력을 배치하는 등의 국가적 지원이 요구된다.

This research aimed at investigating the effect of abuse-related knowledge, report attitude, report efficacy which influence child abuse report behavior on early childhood teachers' report intention and behavior, and exploring the clear relation between them, in order to prepare basic material to promote early childhood teachers' report behavior as the persons who have a duty to notify. To accomplish this purpose, this research questioned 290 early childhood teachers in kindergartens and daycare centers in Daejeon, Chungnam area regarding knowledge, report attitude, report efficacy, report intention and behavior. As the result of the research, abuse-related knowledge, report attitude and report efficacy appeared to influence report intention, also, report attitude, report efficacy, and report intention appeared to influence report behavior. Therefore, national support, e.g. enhancement of early childhood teachers' efficacy on child abuse notification through the education and radical training in respect of child abuse recognition and notification in order for the early detection of battered child, also, arrangement of professional supporting manpower for the teachers, etc. are required.
