영유아 권리존중 보육에 대한 유아교사의 인식과 실행 간 차이 분석

The analysis of the difference between the recognition and performance of early childhood teachers on the respect for infants and children's right

본 연구에서는 영유아 권리존중 보육에 대한 유아교사들의 인식과 실행 간 차이가 어떠한 양상을 보이는지 분석하고 이를 토대로 영유아 권리존중의 관점에서 교사교육 프로그램 개선의 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해 현재 수도권 지역 어린이집과 유치원에 재직 중인 유아교사 183명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며 SPSS를 활용한 중요도-실행도분석(IPA)을 주요 연구방법으로 사용하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 영유아 권리존중 보육에 대한 유아교사의 실행정도는 중요성의 인식정도에 비해 전체적으로 유의하게 낮게 나타났다. 둘째, 교직경력이 높을수록 영유아 권리존중 보육의 인식이 높고, 근무시간이 길수록, 학력이 낮을수록 영유아 권리존중 보육의 실행이 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 끝으 로, 영유아 권리존중 보육에 대한 중요도-실행도(IPA) 분석 결과, 영유아의 하루 일과와 관련된 활동은 유아교사의 인식도와 실행도가 높아 현행 수준을 유지해도 좋은 반면, 영유아의 낮잠은 실행도에 비해 인식도가 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 영유아의 특별활동 그리고 자율성 및 정보 제공은 인식도와 실행도가 모두 낮아 이들 활동에 대한 유아교사의 인식개선이 가장 시급한 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구결과를 토대로 유아교사들의 영유아 권리존중 보육 실행을 위한 교사교육 프로그램의 개선 방향을 제안하였다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the difference between the recognition and the performance of early childhood teacher of respect for infants and children's right, and to suggest the improvement of teacher education program based on this study. For this purpose, we have conducted a questionnaire investigation with 183 teachers who are currently enrolled in kindergarten and childcare centers of the metropolitan area , and SPSS with (IPA) analysis was used. The results of the study are as follows. First, the performance level of the early childhood teacher was significantly lower overall compared to the recognition level on respect for infants and children's right. Second, the higher the teaching career, high recognition of respect for infants and children's right, longer working hours, the lower the educational background, was found to be less run of the respect for infants and children's right. Finally, the results of IPA analysis, activities related to day infants, high recognition and performance of the early childhood teacher is also good to maintain the current level, But 'nap' for infants was found to be less recognized than the performance level. On the other hand, special activities and autonomy and providing information of infants, all recognize that run low degree, it was found that the recognition improvement of early childhood teacher for these activities is urgent most.
