교육기부의 사회경제적 가치 측정

본 연구에서는 최근 사회적으로 주목받고 있는 교육기부와 관련하여 그 사회경제적 가치를 분석하기 위한 정량적 분석 방법론을 연구하였다.교육기부의 효과성 분석에 대한 국내의 선행연구는 주로 설문조사나 인터뷰를 통한 인식·만족도 조사와 같은 연구가 주류를 이루며 정량적 분석에 관한 연구는 거의 이루어지지 않고 있다 그러나 미국과 같은 기부의 역사가 오래된 선진국의 경우 교육기부와 같이 어떤 무형의 가치를 기부하는 기부활동들에 대한 정량적 분석틀에 관한 연구가 상당히 진척되어있다 따라서 본 연구에서는 미국과 영국에서 사회적 기업의 사회경제적 가치를 산정하기 위하여 개발된 SROI(social return on investment)의 개념을 교육기부에 맞게 적용하여 교육기부에 대한 사회경제적인 가치를 return on investment)추산하기 위한 시도를 하였다.본 연구의 3장에서는 교육기부의 효과성을 정량적으로 분석하기 위하여 구축한 SROI 분석 프레임을 가상의 사례를 통하여 설명하고 있으며, 실제 교육기부를 하고 있는 기관이 SROI 분석을 진행할 경우 상황에 따라 어떤 방식으로 적용도리 수 있는지 제시하고 있다. 이러한 SROI 분석 방법론은 추후 필요에 따라 보완을 거쳐서 교육기부를 하고 있는 각 지관들에게 유용하게 사용될 수 있으리라 기대한다.

This study is about the measurement of socioeconomic value of donation for education.Although education for donation is recognized as a significant issue in our society,the depth of researches is relatively shallow. Most of researches use qualitative approach to the value of education for donation. In contrast, the developed countries that have a long history of donation such as the U.S., the U.K. have conducted researches about quantitative analysis frame for donation of intangible value. Thus, this study adopts the SROI(social return on investment) method used to valuate social enterprise to donation for education so that estimates the socioeconomic value of donation for education. To ease understanding, this study use an hypothetical example to explain the SROI analysis framework.
