Twelve derivatives of PAS-sulfonamide were synthesized and tested for their antibacterial activity against various bacterial strains. The derivatives XII and XIV showed relatively potent antivacterial activity to INAH-R strains and INAH-PAS-R strains and type XII to streptococcal strains; type IX and type VI to Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
