Arylalkanoic acid derivatives are known as good non-steroidal antiinflamatory and antirheumatic agents. The new arylalkanoic acid derivatives were synthesized when 2-chloro-3-(alpha-cyano-alpha-ethoxycarbonyl-methyl)-1,4-naphthoquinone was reacted with some arylamines.
