개인적 특성 및 처벌인식과 음주운전의 관계

A Study on effect individual characteristics and perceived threat of punishment on drunk - driving intention

본 논문은 운전자의 처벌에 대한 인식과 음주운전습관을 포함한 개인적 특성이 음주운전행동에 얼마나 영향을 미치는지를 알아보기 위해 억제이론을 중심으로 실증적으로 조사한 연구이다. 연구결과를 보면 3개의 억제변수인 처벌의 확실성, 엄격성, 신속성 중 음주운전억제효과가 있는 변수는 처벌의 확실성이었으며, 개인적 특성변수 중에는 성별, 음주운전습관과 음주운전적발경험이었다. 즉 경찰이 음주운전을 억제하기 위해서는 엄한 처벌과 더불어 음주운전을 하면 반드시 적발되고 처벌을 받을 가능성이 높다고 인식할 수 있는 확실성을 제고시키고, 상습음주운전자에 대한 개별치료를 통한 근원적인 예방이 필요할 것이다.

The purpose of this paper is analyzing the deterring effect of punishment and individual characteristics on drinking driver. This paper, to achieve its purpose, consists of 5 chapter. The first is an introduction, the second is theoretical background about relationship between drunk driving and traffic accidents, the third is method of this study, the forth is discussion and findings this study, the fifth is summary and conclusion. The major findings of this study is as follows: First, it is effect certainty of punishment on deterring drunk driving Second, it is effect sex, drunk driving habits, and punishment for drunk driving on drunk driving intention. So, this study suggests efficient policy on law enforcement about drinking driver.
