The purpose of this research is based on having a right understanding what active instructors say in educational circumstances but also searching the teaching philosophy of instructors with their teaching method who are in the course of teaching Taekwondo. To accomplish my purpose of the research, four male instructors have been selected who are in their field currently in Kyeongi area as well as Seoul 2011 and the data has been collected by having an interview and participant observation through the lesson two times each. Also, more documents were collected to make up for the better participant observation and in-depth interview. All the data was categorized by an inductive analysis and these lists were adopted such as member checking, peer debriefing, triangulation and even ethical consideration to to acquire the authenticity of the research. The results of the analysis as follows. First, Taekwondo instructors of sports for all were classified into three as a 'democratic instructor', a 'practical instructor' and a 'leading instructor'. The democratic instructor motivated learners by encouraging and praising them and that way incited them to have interests and the lesson seemed to be improvised which was focused on the participants. They showed examples with participants and even gave them a hand signal. Also, the instructors did hold a rein over the participants indirectly by giving them a sense of humor and encouragement in a positive way. The practical instructors led the lesson in a calculated plan-centered way by showing various demonstrations and a feedback through simple gestures based upon trust and control on the learner's will. The instrutors are seen managing the time efficiently during the lesson and respecting opinions of learner. Teaching method of the leading instructor was composed of being calculated and an instrutor-centered high intensive training as pressing, demanding a feedback the learners in a negative way with keeping them on a tight rein and punishment. This method also showed that one-sided inequality between the instructors and learners by asking learner to be keen on the lesson. Second, teaching philosophy which is influenced on the determination of teaching method was classified into a view of instructors and learners respectively. In case of instructor, a right recognition of the ideal instructor required a man of fine character who has professional knowledge of skill and theory, enthusiasm for teaching and who can be trustworthy by learner as well as their parent and who is qualifed to teach professional ability of Taekwondo, even throughout all kinds of sports while the recognition of the role and qualification of instructor with the reality required ability to organize programs which can improve learners' health and motivate them to participate in the training continuously and who can prevent learner from injuries in advance but also who can guide them to have a right exercise habit. Furthermore, a passion for education and a right understanding their psychology was required as a good instructor. When it comses to learner, the ideal recognition on them was paying attention to lesson, good relationship with friends and desire to have interests in lesson and to express their opinions. Moreover, learners who know how to behave toward their instructors was recognized as good one as well. Actually, the purpose for them of learning Taekwondo was to take pleasure and release their stress. That way, learner set their goal along with their purpose depending on level and tried to be humorous as well as used appropriate expressions like an honorific in order to come into close relation with each other.
