A study of a leadership study trend and its future tasks in Taekwondo

The purpose of this study is to review the current trend of Taekwondo research on leadership and to find future tasks for research. The data have searched on Korea National Assembly Library, Apr 16, 2011. As a result, First, the first thesis was reported in 1997 and until now 73 thesis has reported. A masters thesis was 56 and doctoral dissertation was 17. Second, a leader was the most independent factor and a athlete was the most dependent factor. Third, the most subject was in itself leadership and the main questionnaire was LSS(Chelladurai & Saleh, 1980). Forth, the research direction of leadership in taekwondo was the relationship between leadership and satisfaction. The future tasks were as follows; first, it needs a questionnaire to fit for Korean emotion and recognition, second, it needs mediating variable to investigate between independent and dependent variables, third, we need a qualitative view escaping from quantitative research.
