한국 신임경찰관의 입직동기와 직무태도가 경찰활동의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

A Study to the Effects on Policing Intention by the Job Motivation and Working Attitude of Korean Police Cadet

본 연구는 신임경찰관의 입직동기와 직무태도가 경찰활동의도에 어느정도 유의한 영향을 미치는가를 파악하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 연구방법으로는 문헌조사를 통해 얻은 자료를 통해 이론적 배경과 선행연구결과를 검토하여 연구의 토대를 구축하고 실증적 연구에서는 설문조사를 통해 얻은 자료를 요인탐색과 인과관계 위주로 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과로 첫째, 신임경찰과의 태도 요인 중에서 적극성, 봉사성은 대국가 경찰활동의도에 正(+)의 영향을 주며 청렴성은 負(-)의 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 동기요인 중에서 경찰활동 의도의 독립요인인 대시민 경찰활동의도에 영향을 주는 요인으로는 근무후생 요인은 正(+)의 효과가 있으며, 지위성취요인은 負(-)의 영향을 주고 있다. 셋째, 신임경찰관들이 조직의 근무환경이 좋고 후생제도가 좋다고 느낄수록 또한 경찰에 대한 사회적 존경도 등이 높다고 생각하는 경찰관들의 시민에 대한 경찰활동의도는 높게 나타난다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구의 한계점으로는 신임경찰관에게 한정했다는 점과 교육기관에서 교육훈련중인 신임경찰관을 대상으로 조사함으로써 대표성에 무리가 있는 점을 지적할 수 있으며 이에 대한 후속 연구가 필요하다고 본다.

The essence of policing duty is criminal control, maintain the order, and the service for citizens. The motivation for taking his job and working attitude are making a great effect for the service for citizens because the attitude and motivation is a grave effect cause. Therefore, the grasping of the police attitude and the motivation for taking his job and guiding for a desirable attitude and motivation will be a major role for taking a goal of police organization. This thesis is for the motivation for taking his job and working attitude of Korean police cadets' findings for the effect. I surveys 550 police cadets' of National police Academy. The research methods are literature study, positive study. In the positive study, I analyzed a major cause search and a cause and effect. And I used a statistic method of frequency analysis, major cause analysis and multiple session analysis with spss(win). The result is that the motivation for taking his job and working attitude of police cadets' make a little effect on the Policing intention and working attitude is party effect to police education and training. The cause of findings that taking his job and working attitude also that these two causes can be a major prospective data which can be prospective policing.
