A new compound, (5-Nitro-2-furfurylidene)-p,p''-diaminodiphenyl sulfone, was synthesized by refluxing the mixture of 5-nitrofurfural and p,p''-diaminodiphenylsulfone in ethanol solution. It exhibited good antibactericidal action against several micro-organisms.
