글로벌 식품공급사슬에서 정보통신기술의 혁신을 통한 경쟁우위 제고방안에 관한 연구

A Study on Schemes to Enhance its Competitiveness by ICT Innovation in Global Food Supply Chain

본 연구의 목적은 글로벌 식품공급사슬의 환경변화와 시장에서 ICT를 활용하여 부가가치를 창출할 수 있는 가시성 및 추적성의 현황과 중요성을 고찰하고, 국내 식품기업을 대상으로 ICT기반 물류 혁신을 통한 경쟁력 제고방안을 제시하는데 있다. 본 연구는 문헌연구와 사례연구를 통해 수행되었다. 연구결과로서 RFID와 같은 ICT기반정보의 협업적인 사용은 공급사슬 종단 간 가시성과 추적성을 제공할 수 있으므로 자원의 낭비적 요인을 제거하고 더 낮은 비용으로 고객에게 보다 높은 가치를 전달할 수 있도록 해 주며, 이는 궁극적으로 경쟁사에 대비하여 독특한 경쟁우위를 제공할 것이다. 본 연구는 국내에서 활발하게 연구되지 않은 식품공급사슬의 ICT 활용을 통한 물류혁신에 대한 탐색적 연구로서 의미를 갖고 있으며, 식품기업의 공급사슬에서 ICT기반 물류혁신 방안과 성과에 대한 중요한 시사점을 제시해 주고 있다.

Purpose : The purpose of this study is to consider the changing environments and requirements of food market carefully, and to explore the relationship between ICT-enabled logistics innovation and competitiveness of global food supply chain. Research design, data, methodology : Literature survey and a case study are employed to analyze competitiveness of global food supply chain enabled by ICT as research methodology. Results : This study finds that the ICT-enabled logistics innovation has played a vital role in meeting consumer demands as well as increasing competitiveness of global food supply chain. Conclusions : An organization involved in food industry should give a strategic consideration to attract employees' active participation in adopting ICT-based solutions such as RFID technology.
