Embodiment of Humanistic Connotation of Public Art under the City Culture Construction

Since the 21st century, our country has entered the stage of rapid economic and social development. As an important constituent part in the innovative development of the contemporary urban culture, public art interprets the pattern, environmental and aesthetic function of urban public space through the main form of visual art, and constructs the public aesthetic culture and service system of the contemporary society. Thus, the characteristics and trend of urban culture value in the transformation stage have been increasingly demonstrated. In this paper, the relations between urban culture and public art are taken as the starting point, and the material conditions of the existence of public art and the influence of urban culture on public art are made clear. The inheritance and intrinsic relations between public art and urban culture, and the reflection of the core humanistic value and the construction of public art under the context of the contemporary urban cultural construction are interpreted. In addition, the cultural value brought by a city to public art and the building of a visual image of urban culture completed by public art are further realized.
