The purpose of the current research was to bring to remembrance of the importance of psychological ownership for the restaurant industry in such a competitive environment and make a close investigation how the perceived job and organizational characteristics had influence on the psychological ownership. A survey was conducted to employees who are working at the hotel restaurants, family restaurants, and tourist-restaurants located in Seoul and Gyeonggi areas. Out 374 collected data, 358 data were analyzed using SPSS 12.0. The results summarized two parts and showed firstly that psychological ownership on organization was perceived differently based on the factors of job characteristics: employees who perceived high in jon training opportunities and job discretionary power also highly perceived psychological ownership, while the perceived routine technology on job presented different influences. Secondly, the highly perceived factors of the organizational characteristics, that is, organizational supports, leaders' supports, and participant management were positively statistically influenced on psychological ownership for the organizations.
