The main purpose of this study was to analyze teacher questions presented in the currently-used elementary English teachers' guidebook. For this purpose, 4 kinds of sixth grade teachers' guidebook were analyzed in terms of question forms, function/content and purposes. The results were as follows. First, in average, 13.9 teacher questions were presented per class period. Second, most of the teacher questions were presented in the first or second period of the class to check students' understanding of the class content. Third, most of the teacher questions were wh-questions(76.1%) in form, study related questions(67.8%) in content, and display questions(76.4%) in purpose. Based on the results, some suggestions to improve the quantity and quality of teacher questions in the teachers' guidebook were made.
