Kirpich formula was selected as the proper formula for calculating the concentration time at island streams. Kirpich formula can be applied for the expanded range from surface area of <TEX>$0.453km^2$</TEX> and channel bed slope of <TEX>$3{\sim}5%$</TEX> to surface area of <TEX>$2.0km^2$</TEX> and channel bed slope of 1.5%.
