四書에서 유래하는 成語에 대한 중ㆍ고교 '漢文科'에서의 효율적인 교수법

EFFICIENT METHODS FOR TEACHING IDIOMS(成語) ORIGINATED FROM "FOUR BOOKS(≪四書≫)" IN SECONDARY AND HIGH SCHOOL TEXTBOOKS OF 'CLASSICAL CHINESE'

이 글은 우리들의 언어생활에서 빈번하게 사용되고 있는 故事成語의 효용성과 가치를 중고교 한문교과 차원에서 살펴본 것이다. 특히 '고사성어'는 『史記』와 같은 역사산문類로부터 유래된 것이 거의 태반이라 할 수 있겠으나, 본 연구는 四書(『대학』ㆍ『논어』ㆍ『맹자』ㆍ『중용』) 經文에서 비롯 된 성어들만을 主연구대상으로 삼았다는 데에 특징이 있다. 따라서 이 연구는 사서에서 유래하고 있는 고사성어를 조사해 보았고, 이들 가운데 중고교 '漢文' 교과에서 학습 가능한 것만을 선별하여, 실제 수업현장에서 가장 효율적인 교수학습 지도법이 무엇인지를 고찰함에 연구의 목적이 있다. 이에 본 논고는 첫째, 성어에 대한 다양한 정의를 살펴보고, 둘째, 사서에 출현하는 고사성어를 모두 조사하였으며, 셋째, 이들 가운데 중고교 한문 교과에서에 수록할 만한 고사성어를 추출하여, 넷째, 사서에 출현하는 고사성 어를 학교 수업현장에서 가르칠 때에 주의해야 할 점을 명시하고, 가장 바람직한 교수법이 무엇인지를 제언하는 것으로 서술되었다.

In this paper we try to grasp the values and utility of the idioms derived from ancient events (故事成語) that we frequently use in language life. Although it can be said that most of those idioms are originated from historical proses such as "Historical Notes(《史記》)", but this paper wants to merely focus on the idioms arose from the "Four Books (《四書》)" - means "Great Learning (《大學》)", "Analects (《論語》)", "Mencius (《孟子》)" and "Doctrine of the Mean (《中庸》)" - the classical texts of Confucianism. Regarding them as the main subject, this research aims at some goals as follows: investigating the idioms originated from the "Four Books", among them analyzing only ones which can be taught and introduced into secondary and high school textbooks of 'Classical Chinese (漢文)', and considering the most efficient methods of teaching and learning them in the real study site. Hence the opinions stated in this paper are as follows: firstly, we consider different definitions of idiom; secondly, we gather all the idioms derived from ancient events that are recorded in the "Four books"; thirdly, we select the idioms that can be introduced into secondary and high school textbooks of 'Classical Chinese'; fourthly, in the process of teaching with those textbooks in the real school site, we mention the problems and propose the most efficient method for this work.
